Sama, Maryem, Sofia, Thomas, Karen, Seif, and Chris hosted workshops where they made tote bags, clay art, and tie-dye to show locals and tourists how to use eco-friendly materials. Although it was hard to coordinate a large group and pick the best ideas, our team learned that people are very open to helping once they see the beauty of the oceans.
We didn’t just share information on the corals; we helped people know how to help preserve the corals and raise awareness.
