Sustainability Initiative with El Gouna CEO

Through studying marine life and sustainable practices, we have realized how much single-use plastic affects our sea and the coral reef ecosystem. We took action and went to speak with the CEO of El Gouna, our town,

 

 

We met with the El Gouna CEO, Mr. Mohammad Amr, to replace plastic bags with tote bags and install water fountains in our town so our community stops using single use plastic bottles.

 

Result

We got an approval for both eliminating the single-use plastic bags in El Gouna and the proposal of installing water fountains in El Gouna to reduce the purchasing of single-use plastic bottles... We are currently working on implementation.
